Enrollment FAQ

Q: How do I enroll my child?
A: Submit a lottery form online by clicking here.

Q: What if I don’t have access to a computer to complete a lottery form?
A: You can complete a lottery form from your phone by clicking here or you can download the free SchoolMint app from the app store. When you sign up using the app, type “Ingenium Schools” in the School Organization section.

We also have computers available in our school office for you to complete a lottery form. Visit our office Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM and we would be happy to help you!

Q: What happens after I submit a lottery form?
A: We will collect lottery forms for enrollment until Friday, March 31, 2017. If space is available in your child’s grade level on March 31, your child will be invited to enroll. If more students complete a lottery form by March 31, than we have space available for, we will hold a lottery on Monday, April 24, 2017. Students selected in the lottery will be invited to enroll and all other students will be added to our waitlist in the order their names are drawn.

Q: Is there a tuition fee?
A: No, we are a free, public school! Our enrollment policy can be viewed here.

Q: Does my child have to take a test or prove they have good grades to enroll?
A: No, all students are welcome!

Q: Does my child have to live within a certain distance of the school?
A: No, all students are welcome!

Q: Do you accept students with IEPs or special educational needs?
A: Yes, all students are welcome!

Q: Does your school offer transportation?
A: No, parents/guardians must transport their student to and from school daily.

Q: What grade levels does your school offer?
A: We offer 6th through 8th grade.

Q: Does your school offer a before-school program or an after-school program?
A: We offer a free after-school program on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q: Does your school provide breakfast and lunch?
A: Yes, we provide free breakfast and lunch for all students.

Q: What documents are needed at the time of enrollment?
A: You do not need any documents to submit a lottery form, however. once your child has been offered enrollment, you will need to submit the child’s birth certificate, current immunization record, most recent report card, and, if applicable, current IEP.

Q: Is there a uniform policy?
A: Yes, students must wear a green polo shirt with the school logo and navy blue bottoms.

Q: Where can I purchase the school uniforms?
A: Polo shirts can be purchased in our school office. Navy blue bottoms can be purchased at most local retailers, including Target, Walmart, Kohl’s, and Costco. Additional information is available in the Parent-Student Handbook provided to all families during orientation.
